The airline flies to more than 100 destinations across four continents. London, Miami, Oslo, Dallas, Nha Trang, Atlanta and Brussels routes are all popular with passengers. In addition to this, the airline is also the first carrier to offer regular flights between Seoul and Tashkent, Siem Reap, Koror, Almaty and Phnom Penh. Online check-in

Passengers who decide to fly Asiana, including those on London Heathrow flights, can check in for their flight online up to 48 hours before it is scheduled to depart. Online check-in for domestic flights closes half an hour before take-off while online check-in for international ones closes 1 hour before take-off. Online check-in requires a passenger's reservation or ticket number. While checking in, passengers are able to choose their seat. After online check-in, passengers can print their boarding card or have a mobile boarding card sent to their phone. It is also possible to check in at the airport check-in counters.

Hand luggage allowance

Different Asiana Airlines bookings entitle passengers to different amounts of hand luggage. Passengers traveling in Economy class are allowed 1 piece of hand luggage, while Business class passengers are permitted to bring 2 pieces of hand luggage when they fly Asiana. In both classes, the maximum weight for each item of hand luggage is 10 kg and the maximum dimensions are 55 x 40 x 20 cm. Passengers will also be allowed to carry a maximum of one laptop, duty-free purchase, book, baby food item, mobility aid or small stroller. Hand luggage items should fit in either the overhead locker or under the seat in front of the passenger. There are some exceptions for larger items which can be carried as hand luggage if an extra seat is purchased for them, most notably musical instruments.

Checked baggage allowance

Checked baggage allowance on Asiana Airlines' flights to international destinations is as follows. For flights to or from destinations in the Americas, Economy passengers may check in 2 items, each weighing up to 23 kg. For Business class passengers the allowance is also 2 items, but with a maximum weight of 32 kg. For passengers in First Class the maximum weight is also 32 kg but they are entitled to bring 3 items of checked baggage. Infants are entitled to 1 item weighing up to 23 kg as well as a stroller or car seat. For flights to other destinations, the allowances for First and Business class passengers remain the same. However, Economy passengers are entitled to just 1 item instead of 2, with the maximum weight for an Infant's checked baggage dropping to 10 kg. The combined width, length and height of any baggage item should not be more than 158 cm.

First rate service and comfort. Asiana provided overnight airport hotel on return trip, which was fine. Downside is that the return flights were both during daytime and therefore, despite darkened cabin, not too easy to sleep.
